Empathy Surplus Indivisible Ohio Chapter

We are seeking members and volunteers of the Empathy Surplus Network USA in Ohio to join our Indivisible Ohio Chapter because we are headquartered in Ohio. We would be happy to help create other Empathy Surplus State Chapters. Our Facebook members fill out the form linked above at “Click to Join.” Existing Facebook participants have until Labor Day 2026 to complete this form.

Democracy makes no sense if we care only for ourselves and our own families. Empathy Surplus supports our members and volunteers in applying science-based communication to frame and reframe ongoing public discourse around empathy, uniting siloed human rights advocates and elected officials.

Our Vision – Strong, diverse communities of nurturing families caring for one another’s human rights and freedoms.

Our Mission – Frame and reframe constant public discourse about any human right through a lens of empathy and our duty to care.

We will combat DARVO by implementing CARRE.

George Lakoff’s Resources

The basic idea is this: Dr. Lakoff’s resources are free and open to all. He will provide framing suggestions regularly over social media, and whoever receives them can decide how to use them, and whether to share them or retweet them. Dr. Lakoff’s process is bottom-up.

Dr. Lakoff also offers this framing service to activist organizations, media folks, and elected officials and their staff.
