Compassionate Brain

Empathy Surplus Project is  truly unique in the world of grassroots governing; partnering with Cognitive Policy Works we are attempting to strengthen the compassionate brain in all Americans, beginning with ourselves and our neighbors.

Since we are focused on long-term trust building for effective governance versus short-term political cycles, we are looking for compassionate investors. The latest insights of the brain tell us that every time we act compassionately, think compassionately, talk compassionately, that not only does it strengthen a particular part of our brain, but it strengthens the compassionate brain of others who are witnesses of the compassionate act.

2012 Primary Contributions

Empathy Surplus Project and its Caring Citizens Chapters occasionally support party candidates (of any party) for party office, i.e. county and state central committees, who support our vision and values for compassionate and effective public government.

Candidate Defined

“People running for county or state party central committee, presidential electors, national convention delegates and charter commission members are not candidates and are not subject to campaign finance reporting.” Contributions are not tax deductible.
